To support our ongoing hiring demands, Retronix has an immediate need for a Spotter. This is a short-term contract lasting 4-6 weeks based in Chandler, Arizona.
Responsibilities:
- Spotting technicians installing automation equipment
- To ensure a job is carried out in the safest manner possible to avoid injury
- To warn others of any unsafe approaches to a designated area
- Remain focused for the duration of your required observation time
- Carefully position oneself so that you can monitor appropriately any potential encroachments to the work zone that may violate safety rules
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Able to follow procedures and protocols
- Demonstrates aptitude to learn fast
- Mon-Fri, 12 Hour-days, 60 hours a week. 2 shifts:
- 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Some workdays maybe shorter than 12 hrs
Physical Requirements:
Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Requires the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.
