Job description

To support our ongoing hiring demands, Retronix is seeking an outstanding QAQC (Quality Assurance and Control Technician) based in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Responsibilities:

· Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope in character necessary to achieve quality of system required in the drawings and specifications for all works within the project

  • Use standard manual inspection tools and equipment to inspect quality
  • Provide inspection support during on site installation
  • Generate documents showing inspection results. Issue and maintain reports on sub-contractor quality and delivery performance
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure milestones are met and understood
  • Responsible for ensuring maximum quality products and hence requires a thorough knowledge and understanding of the specific concepts of Installation Process
  • Responsible for identification of errors and/or faults during Installation/qualification of the system before delivering to customers

Requirements:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent (GED), or military certification
  • Experience with manual inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, voltmeters, etc.
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with heights.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% and remain at site for extended periods (travels may include overseas sites). Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain all necessary travel document
  • Able to work in construction sites or in clean room environment
  • Basic electrical and mechanical system knowledge
  • Ability to understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical and schematics

Physical Requirements:

Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc. Occasional overnight travel to training facilities and customer locations may be required.
