To support our ongoing hiring demands, Retronix Semiconductor is seeking an outstanding individual for a Maintenance Technician – Program Lead #885 role based within Hillsboro, Oregon.

Learn new skills and be part of a dynamic team within the semiconductor industry – both day and night shifts available.

Responsibilities and duties include:

· Identifies training needs and delegates training to shift lead

· Identifies training needs and assists in training

· Completes employee check ins for the shift leads

· Reports attendance anomalies/trends

· Creates performance improvements plans, delivers them to techs and ensures follow up steps for improvement with each tech

· Submits program reports if needed (SOW Reports, SIR/QIR/AAR as needed, Bi weekly/weekly PP for Intel/RTX)

· Preventative Maintenance Preparation- parts order/ chamber prepared to be opened

· Post Preventative Maintenance Preparation – parts return and area clean up

· Carrying out minor preventative maintenance – checking a list of gauges and validating regulators according to specs.

· Parts running

· Carrying out sub fab bottle changes- lifting canister, opening values

· Workplace Organization and cleanliness audits

· Weekly meetings with Intel and RTX

· All Program Leads are working techs first and assist with any/all spare time in fab for all modules they are trained in.

· Program Leads are expected to be the communication pathway between Intel and RTX technicians

· Other jobs and duties assigned

The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:

  • Basic mechanical experience and aptitude are desired
  • Excellent customer skills are required
  • An ability to use appropriate tools is required
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions is required
  • Previous experience working on vehicles such as performing oil changes or mounting tires is a plus
  • Good organization
  • Understanding of coverage
  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with others
  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to be proactive
  • Capable of adjusting on the fly to multiple situations

Physical Requirements:
Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc. Occasional overnight travel to training facilities and customer locations may be required.
