I was hired by Retronix Semiconductor to work in a Field Service Engineer II position. I was originally hired for a 6-month contract but worked with the client for 7 months. I applied for the position of field service engineer online and Retronix Semiconductor called me to ask for more information. I also filled out a skills matrix on my experience and was processed into the interview stage.
I chose to work for Retronix Semiconductor because I thought they gave me a reasonable offer for my years of semiconductor experience and my education level.
I would rate Retronix Semiconductor as a 5 out of 5. It was truly a valuable eye-opening and great learning experience for me. I enjoyed the opportunity to not only travel to new locations but the opportunity to work with new teams of people on the latest capital equipment.
The best thing about working with Retronix Semiconductor was being treated with total respect by the entire staff I worked with.
Now that I have finished my assignment, I have accepted a permanent position with a German engineering company in a higher paying job and a higher position level. I believe my experiences with Retronix Semiconductor set me up for this new Field Service Engineering III position with this new company that I am going to be working for and will more than likely end my career with.
The advice I would give to someone looking to apply for a role with Retronix Semiconductor would be that this is a fantastic opportunity and you should try it and see if it works for you.
This is a great opportunity to learn about different types of equipment and technologies, work with a diverse group of people, and work at different sites. It was all just a fantastic learning opportunity in many ways I never imagined.
